New Obsession...Lea Seydoux

Lea Seydoux

My obsession with Lea began when I watched her in the advertisement for Prada Candy, directed by Wes Anderson. After that I started to see her everywhere, Blue is the Warmest colour, Vogue articles, Miu Miu and Prada Campaigns, Inglorious Bastards...

Why do I love her? She's so comfortable in her skin, so carefree and at ease with herself...something I am trying to acheive. However with society's twisted idea of what is pretty I am finding being comfortable a hard thing to achieve...That makes me sad... So I when I came across Lea and read her interviews and watched her films, I saw someone I could admire.

Style icon...Her style combines aspects of masculine and feminine qualities that echo her personality.

La musique est la nourriture de l'âme...

Whilst googling I chanced upon one of those marvellous bands that you wonder how you lived without until now. Nouvelle vague is an album by a French cover band led by musicians Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux. In the spirit of my fascination with all things french, this album really sings to my obsession.

Parisian Inspired outfits...

Due to the fact that I am a student and BROKE, I have no funds to develop a personal style, as I would like to. However, I do steel my mothers old clothes, from the 80s and 90s, so to an extent I manage to achieve a stylish vintage style in my wardrobe. However the power of technology allows me to have the perfect wardrobe. It also allows me to plan the perfect wardrobe for when I do have the funds to travel the world and wear Prada and Chanel. Merci Beaucoup Polyvore!

Continuing obsession with Paris...Olympia Le Tan...

Look at Olympia Le Tan on The Corner and thought these would be the perfect outfits for a parisian!

New Obsession...Olympia Le Tan

New Obsession... to carry ones favourite book as a purse...genius! It is my ambition over the summer to make my own version of the Olympia Le Tan purses. Quirky, cute, bright yet sophisticated, sleek, intelligent and stylish...the perfect bag.
It's as if you can truly wear a part of yourself. A classic novel or music composition which touched your heart can be a part of you in more ways than one.

I read the Great Gatsby at the BRIT school. After the third time I read it I new the poetic words of Scott Fitzgerald had imprinted onto me for life... That is why I love Olympia Le Tan. To show the world that this book and the beautiful words within it are as much a part of me as the clothes on my back..
