New Obsession... Emilia Wickstead!

Emilia Wickstead

Her SS14 show made me want to jump into spring. At the moment I'm really interested in well tailored clothes and thats what attracted me to the simple but beautifully constructed clothing of Miss Wickstead. It may be the colours, but there is something about this show that reminded me of Sex and the City. The way the silhouettes of the dress both hug and drape the female figure, seem so feminine and classy.

Favourite piece in the whole show! The entire show was simply quirky.

Continuing Obsession with Prada Candy...

New Obsession...Prada Candy

CANDY

Ever since watching the Grand Budapest Hotel I have been obsessed with all things Wes Anderson. The character of Candy is one that is described to be the essences of Joie du Vivre. The most delicious of dilemmas; a love triangle! In celebration of all things Parisian I have fallen victim to the seduction of Candy.

Why I love the Prada Candy...

 1. The Clothes...

Beautiful Italian heritage clothing, in delicious candy colours was featured in the film. There is a distinctive characteristic of Prada clothing and that is the impeccably flawless tailored finish on each garment. In Prada Candy almost all of Candy's clothes look like smooth icing on the cake...

 2. The Food...

Banana split and double vanilla, chocolate, almond cream! What more could a girl want?!

 3. The Music...

I am currently obsessed with the music featured in the advertisement...To me the music is what the perfume smells like in sound!

THE PRADA CANDY PLAYLIST!

  • Jacques Dutronc - l'idole
  • Jacques Dutronc - Il est 5 heures
  • France Gall - Le temps de la rentrée

So excited for the new 2014 fragrance and campaign!

The Champs Elysees was simple marvelous. For a moment I felt like I was in a film noir moment or a Chanel advertisement. A feeling where I imagined, whilst I was taking photos of the glorious scenery I would catch a glimpse of a handsome stranger through the camera lense staring at me. Yes cheesy as this sounds the whole place did really feel that romantic. The sun was just ready to set on Paris and my sister begged us to go on the ferris wheel. We were very reluctant, however that decision became the highlight of the trip. As you will see in the photos...

Spying on lovers...

Spying on the newly weds...

Made me giggle...

This bike reminds me of the Dior Cherie advertisement where the model cycles through paris....
