Bye Bye BRIT School...personal post.

Soon I shall be leaving the BRIT School! I can't believe it! It's been a journey. In the past two years I have had created approximately 11 college projects, 4 blogs, and had over 100 mental breakdowns! Looking back at my time it has been an unbelievable two years filled with celebrity meetings, artist discoveries, more laughing than I can remember, a tonne of new skills and specialisms, such as learning how to use a mac computer and not fighting the mac computer!

What I have done in the Past two years...

1. Met hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway...

After a long day at college my friend, Ashleigh, and I decided to go down to leister square to see if we could catch a celebrity siting at the Les Miserable premiere... We got so much more than a celeb sighting! Hugh Jackman's car stopped right in front of us and Anne took a picture with us! Well a selfie...

2. Created a memorial for the Crystal palace in Croydon.

3. Discovered my Tiffany's...the V&A!

It was the first place I visited when I moved to London. My auntie cathie took me to the Ball gown exhibition and I fell in love with it ever since. So far I 've been to the Hollywood costume exhibition, Meadham Kirchhoff, Fyodor Golan and the David Bowie is exhibition. My love affair continues as I intend to go and see the Wedding and Italian rules exhibitions...

4. Met Golan of Fyodor Golan...

I went to the open day of Istituto Marangoni and met Golan of Fyodor Golan! His words were inspiring and now I am even more of an admirer, as his professional zeal for the fashion industry convincened my dad fashion is actually an industry and not just making "pretty dresses".

5. Fashion weekend!

6. A Londoner in Paris...

See my Paris trip on my blog. At the time and looking back it was the most perfect two days of my entire life! As my other says you are only 18 once. It is a birthday I will never forget andI thank my amazing parents for letting me experience such wonderful opportunities!
7. Meadham Kirchhoff Fashion show...

Last year I dragged my friends to the V&A after college, to the Meadham Kirschhoff Fashion in motion show. My heart sank whenwe missed the first show and only just made the last one!
8. Rolling stones at Hyde Park...

9. Been to the brit awards twice!

10.Got into Uni!

I always knew I wanted to go to university. Not for the 'uni experience' but to learn. BRIT School has sparked a fire of enthusiasm within me for the arts. Personally, I cannot wait to go to the London College of Fashion and completely immerse myself in a sea of creative individuals!
11. This year we all said hello to my new baby brother, Zac!

12. Orient Express!

I didn't ask for anything for my birthday. To be honest I wasn't that bothered about turning 18. Everything was so hectic with college,I was too busy to think about it. I had everything I needed and everything I could have wanted. And so my Grandy did not get me a present as such. Originally he wanted to buy me a car...I said no! And so my Grandy bought two tickets to an evening meal for me and himself...on the Orient express! The experience was indescribable...not only because I living a dream of glamour I had always longed to experience but because I was with such an incredible man! I have no idea how I can ever truly thank my Grandy for that memory, except to always hold itin my heart.
13. Venice....

14. Juliet's Balcony

15. Afternoon tea!

16. Ice skating at somerset house...

17. Visited an abandoned Primary school - one of the most interesting things I saw in London...

18. Ghana....

19. Met some amazing friends!

20. Went to Sydney Australia...

21. I got into the BRIT School.

Everyone says I am so lucky to live in London and to go to the BRIT School. But what they don't know is that 1. I lived in Croyden, not glamorous Covent Garden, Shard London... and 2. I applied to the BRIT School, I got in for my own hard work and initiative and I worked my ass off to get the best marks possible. And yes I did get the top marks in my projects...it was  the best way I could thank my wonderful parents for supporting me in my education.

I want to thank my parents, Lee and Katie and all their family for making me feel so welcome. For comforting me when I needed it and giving me a roof to live under and a bed o sleep in. I love my family to the moon and back!

I feel like I have led a life of fullness and beauty. I am grateful and thank my family for all the support they have given me for the past two years. I can't wait for university, to meet more amazing and wonderful people to learn from and be inspired from in my life.

Life is beautiful.
